Jamaat delegation meets Yunus

A delegation of the Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh led by its Ameer Shafiqur Rahman has held a view-exchange meeting with Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus at the state guest house Jamuna in the city.

The delegation entered the Jamuna around 6:00 pm on Thursday, said Jamaat's media wing.

Jamaat Amir was accompanied by the party's two assistant secretaries general Hamidur Rahman Azad, Abdul Halim and executive council member Saiful Alam Khan Milon.

On Wednesday, a delegation of BNP led by its secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir met the chief adviser. In the meeting, they called for national unity.
