Reform is continuous democratic process: Amir Khasru

The reform is a continuous democratic process, which is not possible to be done sitting at table, said BNP Standing Committee member and former minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.

He was addressing a discussion at BSMMU hospital in the capital on Tuesday.

Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) organized the discussion titled “Martyred President Ziaur Rahman and Today's Bangladesh”.  

“Only elected government having people’s mandate will carry out complete reforms in the parliament,” he said.

Amir Khasru opined that partnership and ownership of the reform should be at the hands of the people of the country. 

He noted that BNP was established through reforms.

BNP’s Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam was present on the occasion.
