BNP leader Babar hospitalized in Dubai

Former State Minister for Home Affairs Lutfozzaman Babar was on his way to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. However, he became ill on the way and was admitted to a hospital in Dubai. 

Confirming the matter, Babar's personal assistant Mirza Haider Ali said the BNP leader was admitted to the hospital at around 11:30pm. 

He said, Babor fell severely ill with breathing difficulties while en route to Madinah from Dhaka aboard the Emirates Airlines flight. After the plane landed, he was rushed to a clinic near the airport. The doctors suggested admitting Babar there. 

After nearly 8 hours of treatment, he was released and boarded a different flight towards Jeddah.
