BNP to hold extended meeting in Dhaka on Feb 27

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold an extended meeting in the capital on February 27.

However, the party's senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said the venue of the meeting has not yet been finalized.

Rizvi was briefing at a press conference at BNP’s  central office in Nayapaltan  on Sunday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the 27-member committee has been formed with Ruhul Kabir Rizvi as its convener and six sub-committees have been formed to implement the extended meeting.

Rizvi  said that the leaders of the BNP's National Standing Committee and Central Executive Committee will participate in the extended meeting.

Members of the Chairperson's Advisory Council, District BNP Presidents, Conveners and General Secretaries, Member Secretaries; Upazila, Thana and Municipal BNP Presidents, Conveners and General Secretaries, Member Secretaries, Presidents, Conveners and General Secretaries, Member Secretaries of 11 central front organizations,  associate bodies and BNP candidates with the paddy sheaf symbol in the 2018's 11th parliamentary elections and candidates of the party who  received primary nominations will participate in the meeting , he added.
