Nargis made BNP vice chairman, Yasin chairperson's adviser

Nargis Begum, former convener of the Jessore district unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has been made the party's vice chairman. 

Besides, BNP relief and rehabilitation affairs secretary Haji Aminur Rashid Yasin has been included in the advisory council of the party's chairperson.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the fresh appointments in a press release on Wednesday night. 

Nargis Begum is the wife of the late BNP standing committee member Tariqul Islam.
