From now on, I will chant "Joy Bangla" slogan

Abdul Kader Siddique, President of the Krishak Sramik Janata League, has stated that the slogan "Joy Bangla" will continue to exist as long as Bangladesh exists. 

Speaking at a milad mahfil to mark his mother's death anniversary, Siddique defended the arrest of some people for raising the slogan of “Joy Bangla” at the National Memorial on Independence Day. 

He stated that "Joy Bangla" is not a slogan of any party, individual, or group but the slogan of independence”. 

Siddique also praised the leaders who brought about a revolution. 

He criticized those who disrespected the leaders, including Bangabandhu and Ziaur Rahman.

If Bangladesh had not been independent, these buildings, houses, roads -- none of these things would exist, he said.

“Some think that independence has fallen with the fall of Hasina government on August 5. No, not at all," he continued.
