Govt staging drama over resignation: Salahuddin Ahmed

BNP Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed alleged that the government is staging "drama" over resignations.

He was addressing a youth rally titled "Establishing the Political Rights of the Youth", jointly organised by Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, and Swechchhasebak Dal in front of the BNP's central office at Nayapaltan in the capital on Wednesday.

Salahuddin Ahmed said the BNP never asked for anyone's resignation but wanted elections.

"We wanted elections, not resignations. The countrymen have seen their drama,” he said, reiterating that, “We want a roadmap for the national elections by December."
