Barrister Shamim Haider Patwary appointed as Jatiya Party Secretary General

Barrister Shamim Haider Patwary has been appointed as the Secretary General of Jatiya Party.

Jatiya Party Chairman Golam Mohammad Quader made the appointment, said Jatiya Party Chairman's Press Secretary Khandaker Delwar Jalali on Monday.

Article 20(a) of the Jatiya Party constitution empowers the party chairman to expel anyone without serving any show cause notice to any party leader.

Earlier, GM Quader had expelled Mashiur Rahman Ranga from the post of Secretary General and appointed Mujibul Haque Chunnu as Secretary General.
