Egyptian envoy calls on Mirza Fakhrul

Egyptian Ambassador to Bangladesh Omar Fahmy on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the BNP Chairperson's office in the city's Gulshan.

During the meeting, which took place at around 11 am, they discussed various issues, including bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Egypt, as well as regional and international matters and the current political situation in both countries.

BNP Standing Committee Member and Chairperson's Foreign Affairs Advisory Council Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, BNP Acting Chairman's Adviser on International Affairs and Joint Secretary General Humayun Kabir and BNP Organizing Secretary and member of the Chairperson's Special Associate Advisory Committee on Foreign Policy Shama Obaid were present, among others.
