Zubaida Rahman visits Khaleda Zia at hospital today

Dr Zubaida Rahman has visited  ailing BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia  at the Evercare Hospital in the city. 

She reached the hospital at 3:20pm on Saturday. 

Earlier, Zubaida Rahman arrived in Dhaka yesterday (Friday) from London. Upon arrival, she went directly to Evercare Hospital from the airport around 12:00 PM to see her mother-in-law.

Then she stayed at the hospital for more than two and a half hours. 

Later, around 2:30 PM, she went to her ancestral home in Dhanmondi. She returned to the hospital again at night.

Khaleda Zia was admitted to the hospital on November 23 after developing breathing difficulties due to a lung infection. Subsequently, she developed pneumonia. She also has pre-existing chronic conditions, including kidney, liver, arthritis, and diabetes issues. As a result, the situation is complex- treating one illness often has an adverse effect on another.
