Asif Mahmud to contest as independent candidate

Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain has announced that he will contest the upcoming 13th national election as an independent candidate from the Dhaka-10 constituency.

He made the announcement in a video posted on his Facebook page on Friday

On Thursday, Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain resigned from his post as the interim government's LGRD and Youth and Sports Adviser. He and Information and Broadcasting Adviser Mahfuj Alam submitted their resignation letters to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna.
