Tasnim Jara's nomination cancelled

Independent candidate from the Dhaka-9 constituency and former National Citizen Party (NCP) leader Tasnim Jara's nomination for the upcoming election has been cancelled.

A returning officer cancelled her nomination on Saturday, Dhaka Division Addl Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Azmal Hossain confirmed. 

Tasnim Jara resigned from NCP on December 27 last year. The next day, she announced her decision to contest the election as an independent candidate.
