BNP leader Selima Rahman admitted to CCU at United Hospital

Selima Rahman, a prominent member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee and former minister, has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of United Hospital in Dhaka following a sudden heart attack.

BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan (also referred to as Shayrul Kabir Khan or Sayrul Kabir Khan in reports) confirmed the development on Sunday.

According to sources from the party and her family, Rahman experienced a sudden cardiac issue around 10:00 pm on Thursday, February 19. She was immediately rushed to United Hospital for emergency care.

Medical evaluations led to her placement in the CCU for intensive monitoring and treatment, where she remains under observation.

Family members and BNP leaders have appealed to the public for prayers, wishing her a swift and full recovery.
