Khaleda to meet Sushma tonight

Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will hold a meeting with BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia at a city hotel tonight (Sunday).

The meeting is set to be held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon at 8:00 pm, said BNP chairperson’s media wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan, UNB reports.

He said various issues relating to bilateral interest of the two countries and the latest political situations of Bangladesh will come up for discussion during the meeting.

Sushma is scheduled to arrive here on Sunday on a two-day official visit to discuss bilateral issues with an expectation to take forward the relations to the next level.

She will reach the Bangabandhu Air Force base at 1:55 pm, a senior official told UNB on Saturday.
