No fault of student politics: Obaidul Quader

Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader has said that there is no fault of student politics.

He also said those who do misdeeds in the name of student politics will be brought under the law.

The AL leader said this while exchanging views with journalists at Rajshahi Circuit House around 12:15 pm on Sunday.

About the ban on student politics at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), he said the government was not in favor of banning student politics.

"Cutting off the head is not a solution if you have a headache", he said.

He also that the men of Jubo League who are alleged are under surveillance .

You would know later if there are any allegations against the Jubo League chairman, he said when asked.
