Wrong message sent to media: Menon

Rashed Khan Menon, president of Workers' Party of Bangladesh, explained his remarks on what he said that the people could not exercise their franchise in the 11th National Parliament elections.

He said, "A wrong message has been sent to the national politics and 14-party's politics after my recent speech delivered in the Barisal Zila Party Conference. So, confusion has been created due to publishing my partial statement in the media instead of full coverage. The media has been given the wrong message." 

Menon said this in a statement signed by Workers Party leader Kamrul Ahsan sent to the media on Sunday afternoon.

In the programme held on Saturday, Menon said people could not cast their votes in the December-30 polls and subsequent local body ones.
