Khaleda Zia will go abroad tomorrow if she gets bail today: MP Harun

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will go abroad for taking better medical treatment if she gets bail from the court, said party's joint secretary general Harunur Rashid.

He told this to the reporters after meeting with the chairperson at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in Dhaka on Tuesday evening.

Harunur Rashid said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will definitely go abroad if she gets chance for better treatment. "She will go abroad tomorrow if she gets bail today," the BNP leader continued.

On February 8 last year, Khaleda Zia was sentenced to five years in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case. Immediately after the verdict was announced by a Dhaka court, the former premier was sent to the Old Central Jail on Nazimuddin Road by announcing it a special jail.
