Saifur Matsyajibi League president, Azgar gen secy

Saifur Rahman and Sheikh Azgar Naskar have been made president and general secretary of Bangladesh Awami Matsyajibi League respectively.

Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader announced the names of the newly elected leaders of the associate body of Awami League.

The announcement came from a conference of Awami Matsyajibi League at the Krishibid Institution Auditorium at Khamarbari on Friday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, Quader inaugurated the conference hoisting the national flag.

Bangladesh Awami Matsyajibi League was established on May 22 in 2004 with the aim of earning the rights of fishermen and developing fisheries.
