Two ways open for Khaleda's release: Hanif

Awami League joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said two ways have been opened for Khaleda Zia's release from jail. 

One is she has to get bail fighting under the legal process and the other is to appeal to the government for release on parole, he narrated.

"But Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir were not doing those, rather he is running dirty politics regarding Khaleda Zia's release from the prison," Hanif observed.

He said this while addressing Dhaka University Students' Association of Chuadanga (DUSAC) scholarship program at the Dhaka University Business Faculty Conference Hall on Saturday.

Mahbubul Alam Hanif said, "Khaleda Zia is ill. We think that as a top leader of a party, as a general man, she has right to get medical treatment under the jail code. And she is being treated accordingly."

The AL leader alleged that the BNP politicians are doing politics to embarrass the government.

Hanif advised the BNP leaders to stop the dirty politics centring Khaleda Zia's health condition.
