Khaleda Zia's bail plea rejected again

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has not been granted bail in the High Court in the most-discussed Zia Charitable Trust corruption case. 

A High Court bench comprising Justice Obaidul Hasan and Justice AKM Zahirul Haque rejected her bail application on Thursday.

Earlier in the morning, the court read out the medical report sent by the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

The health report provided to the court stated that Khaleda Zia did not agree to seek medical advice from her medical board. Later, the court fixed 2 pm on the day to deliver order in this regard.

All eyes were on the High Court since the morning, focusing on the order on the bail application of former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia. 

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has been imprisoned since February 8, 2018. She has been undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) since April this year.
