Reza Kibria quits Gono Forum

Reza Kibria, general secretary of Gono Forum, has resigned from the party led by Dr Kamal Hossain.

"I have resigned from the post of general secretary of the Gono Forum and party membership," he said in a press release issued on Sunday.

“In the meantime, I have submitted the resignation letter to Kamal Hossain,” he added.

Reza Kibria joined the Gono Forum soon before voting in the 11th parliamentary elections in 2018. He was then made party’s Presidium Member.

As a candidate of the Jatiya Oikkyo Front led by Kamal Hossain, Reza Kibria contested Habiganj-1 seat in the eleventh election with the symbol of the sheaf of paddy. 

Later, Kamal Hossain made Reza Kibria party’s general secretary removing Mostafa Mohsin Montu.
