Companiganj Upazila former chairman Badal arrested

Noakhali district Awami League organizing secretary and former chairman of Companiganj Upazila Parishad Mizanur Rahman Badal has been arrested. 

Chittagong Range DIG Anwar Hossain confirmed the arrest incident to The Daily Samakal on Thursday evening.

Asked why he was arrested, he said there was a case against him.

Noakhali Superintendent of Police Alamgir Hossain also confirmed the arrest of Badal.

A case was filed in connection with the vandalism of Abdul Quader Mirza's private office at Basurhat Rupali Chattar on March 8 afternoon and the vandalism of Bangabandhu's birth centenary stage at Bangabandhu Chattar on the same night.
