People frustrated over increase in gas and electricity prices: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that people have become helpless due to increase in gas and electricity prices.

He made the remarks in a press statement sent to the media on Saturday.

To divert people’s attention from these miserable conditions, bloody attacks are being carried out on opposition leaders and activists, including BNP, he said.

The attack of Awami terrorists on Abdul Aziz, the convener of Gurudaspur Thana BNP in Natore district, is an integral part of that.

“I urge all, irrespective of party affiliation, to build a united resistance to get rid of the current dire situation of the present government.”

BNP Secretary General demanded exemplary punishment and wished a speedy recovery of Abdul Aziz who was attacked by the terrorists.
