BNP's two-day program to celebrate golden jubilee of independence

As part of the golden jubilee celebrations of independence of Bangladesh, the BNP will organize a book fair and exhibition of paintings on March 23 and 24 in Dhaka. 

Aman Ullah Aman, convener of the 'Decoration, Liberation War Book Fair and Exhibition Committee' formed to celebrate the Independence Day, announced the program at a press conference at the party's central office in Naya Paltan on Friday morning.

The program will be held at the National Press Club. It will run every day from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm. The cultural program will start from 5 pm. 

The book fair and exhibition will feature books by eminent writers on liberation war, politics, research, stories, poems, novels and analytical books, and camera-captured photographs by photographers and paintings by artists.

Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, a member of the Standing Committee and convener of the National Committee for Independence Day celebrations will inaugurate the book fair and exhibition of paintings of the Liberation War at the National Press Club auditorium at 10:30 am on March 23. 

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony at 3 pm on March 24.

BNP leaders including Khairul Kabir Khokon, Syed Emran Saleh Prince, Nazim Uddin Alam, Ahsanullah Chowdhury, Hasan Chowdhury, Kazi Raunakul Islam Tipu, Abdul Matin and Dulal Hossain were present at the press conference.
