Prof Rahmat Ullah apologizes for paying homage to Khondaker Mushtaq

On the historic Mujibnagar Day at the Student-Teacher Center (TSC) auditorium at Dhaka University, the President of the DU Teachers' Association, Prof. Dr. Md Rahmat Ullah has apologized for paying tribute to Khondaker Mushtaq.

He described the matter as "unintentional" when he apologized.

Prof. Rahmat Ullah came up with the apology at a press conference at Dhaka University Club on Monday morning.

Speaking at the press conference, Rahmat Ullah said, “It is my unintentional mistake to utter a word or phrase unknowingly while addressing a discussion meeting yesterday [Sunday]. That is why I personally express sorrow and apologize. At the same time, I strongly urge all the bearers of the spirit of the Liberation War and the followers of Bangabandhu's ideology to be aware of the fact that there should not be any misunderstanding among the pro-liberation forces.”
