Don’t get confused with baseless news: Tarana

Do not get confused with the baseless news, State minister for posts and telecommunications Tarana Halim has urged.  

 
The state minister came up with the urge on Tuesday by posting a status on her Facebook wall.

Several media yesterday quoting Tarana Halim published a news item that those who will browse the pornographic websites the list containing their names will be published.

Meanwhile, the state minister has vowed to block pornographic websites. She said the internet service providers have to block the porn sites that are being generated inside the country.

Earlier, on November 28, the posts and telecommunications division (PTD) formed a committee to prepare a database of the websites spreading “pornography” and “objectionable contents” in cyber space.
