Tigers set 181-run target for Oman

Bangladesh scored 180 runs losing 2 wickets in 20 overs against Oman in 12th Match of the World T20 at Dharamsala.

 

Tamim Iqbal's rapid fifty and one century lifted Bangladesh from a slow start towards a strong score against Oman.

 

Soumya Sarkar scored 12 off 22 balls in Bangladesh's sluggish start in the must-win match.

 

Oman won the toss and elected to bowl first against Tigers earlier.

 

Like the previous days, the rain at Dharamsala once again posed a threat to the knockout qualifier between Bangladesh and Oman from being held today.

 

Earlier on Friday the Bangladesh-Ireland match was abandoned due to continuous rain at Dharamsala stadium.

 

The Netherlands -Oman match was also washed out without a ball being bowled in the same day.
