Final tail twisting lifts England to 155

The English has collected 155 runs for 9 wickets after 20 overs.

 

Samuel Badree took the first wicket of the English.

 

Badree bagged EJG Morgan too.

 

Andre Russell took the second wicket for the West Indies team. AD Hales got caught at short fine leg by Badree. 

 

Earlier on, West Indies won the toss and elected to field in the final match against England of World T20 at Kolkata, India today.

 

Sammy with his hand around Morgan, both with big smiles on their face, and the match referee Ranjan Madugalle went for the toss. 

 

Morgan span, Sammy called heads, and it was a head! 

 

"At the end of the day, we want the fans to be entertained and we come out victories. No changes. We came into this tournament with a lot of confidence. Not many gave us a chance, but we knew what we could do. Today we just have to take one more step. I said we have 15 match-winners. So far somebody has taken responsibility to take the team home. We've been inspired by the Under-19 boys and seeing the women be victorious, we are inspired," said Sammy.

 

 

"Would have had a bowl first," says Morgan, "Looks a really good surface. Big covering of grass, normally its quite bare and takes a bit of turn. Unchanged as well. I think in all three facets of the game, we've grown in confidence. [On Gayle] As much as we did before any team meeting, its important to stress we don't focus on one player.
