Bangladesh lost Tamim at 95-run

Bangladesh lost Tamim Iqbal on the way to responding Sri Lanka's 338 runs trail in the second day of the second test match at the P.Saravanamuttu Stadium in Sri Lanka's Colombo.

Earlier, Sri Lanka scored total 338 runs all out  by 113.3 overs.

Subashis Roy claimed three wickets while Shakib Al Hasan,  Mehedi Hasan Miraz  and Mustafizur Rahman claimed two wickets each and Taijul Islam took one.

Bangladesh have let Sri Lanka off the hook. They've allowed the tail to wag and score at least 100 more than they should have conceded.

Credit to Dinesh Chandimal, who stuck with the tail to make a combative century. He was well supported by Herath and Lakmal. Bangladesh strangely went on the defensive with the second new ball.

Early in the session, Shakib landed deliveries well outside leg to frustrate the batsman, when he could have perhaps tried to prise the batsmen out by attacking.

Earlier on Wednesday, Bangladesh loss the toss and have to field as Sri Lanka have decided to bat first.

Before that, Mustafizur Rahman claimed the first wicket of host country as Mehedi Hasan Miraz caught the ball delivered by Karunaratne.

The match is a historic event which will see the Bangladesh national team marking its 100th match in Test history.
