Shakib new T20 skipper

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Saturday named ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan as the new skipper of the Twenty20 team.

BCB president Nazmul Hassan announced Shakib's name as the successor of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, who recently retired from the format.

From now Bangladesh have three captains for three formats.

Mashrafe announced his retirement from the shortest format during Sri Lanka tour, leaving the position vacant.
