Sabina scores hattrick as Bangladesh hit Pakistan for six

With a 6-0 thumping of Pakistan on Sunday in Kathmandu, Sabina Khatun scored a hat-trick to help Bangladesh go to the top of Group A of the SAFF Women's Championship.
The Bangladeshi captain Sabina turned on the style at the Dasarath Rangasala, scoring twice in the first half after Monika Chakma gave the women in red and green the lead in the third minute and Sirat Jahan Swapna increased the lead in the 28th. This came after Bangladesh defeated Maldives 3-0 in their opening match.
Bangladesh now leads Group A with six points after two games thanks to the victory. India, a five-time champion, is in second place and will play Maldives later today after defeating Pakistan 3-0 to open the group stage.
With a victory, India will go along with Bangladesh to the semifinals; the two teams' standing in the group would be determined by the result of their match on Wednesday.
