Bangladesh take lead in the SAFF final

Bangladesh took the lead from the beginning in the final of the SAFF women's championship held at Dashrath Stadium in Nepal. 

Shamsunnahar scored a goal. The next goal came from the feet of Krishna Rani.

The Red Green representatives took a 1-0 lead by scoring from a cross from a corner in the 12th minute of the match against the host Nepal.

Bangladesh women's team reached the final for the second time in Women's SAFF Championship. 

In the 2016 tournament, the girls lost their dreams against India. 

This time the girls have the determination to beat the host Nepal and touch the dream of the title.

T Sports, Bangladesh's only sports channel, is airing the SAFF Women's Championship final between Bangladesh and Nepal live.

The final will start at 5:15pm Bangladesh time at the Dasarath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu in Nepal.

Having swept aside their opponents in group stages and in the semifinal with a 20-0 goal record, Bangladesh are fairly confident going into the final against the hosts, who, too, have come into the deciding match with a perfect record.

It is safe to say that the two best teams have qualified for today's final, which will crown a new champion as all the five editions of this regional competition have so far been won by India.
