It’s a dream for us: Jui

Surayia Akter Jui, a ten-grader student of Shiali Secondary High School of Terokhada upazila in the district, expressed her sincere gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for getting house.

Talking to BSS on Wednesday she said “It’s a dream for us. I can’t think that we would have a house with a land. My day labourer father couldn’t fulfill our dreams, but Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made it a reality”.

After giving her brief live reaction with the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from the ‘Barasat Sonar Bangla Palli’ of Terokhada, Jui expressed her excitement with great pleasure.

Jui, 15, daughter of Mohammad Mokarram, a worker of a salt factory in  Chattagram, said “We have passed very hardship days as my father could not maintain our family consisting of six members with his little amount of income.”

She is elder among her three sisters and one brother. She  often said  to her father that you will never be able to purchase a small thrash house with land in your entire life. But the Prime Minister  has given us a semi-pucca house with land as a gift today.

Jui said, “We are very happy getting a house  on a khash land on the bank of the river Atharobeki of Anandanagar under the upazila”.
