Afghanistan bowl out Sri Lanka for 439

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 439 runs in their first innings in reply to Afghanistan's 198 all out on the third day of the one-off Test in Colombo on Sunday.

Resuming from the overnight score of 410 for six, the last four batters added just 29 runs as Sri Lanka ended up with a first innings lead of 241 runs.

Dinesh Chandimal (107) notched up a century in a partnership that broke a record at the Sinhalese Sports Club that had stood for 32 years. Afghanistan were bowled out for 198 in the final session of Friday's first day, after being sent to bat by the hosts.
