Bangladesh win against Nepal, secure Super 8 spot

Nepal have lost in the chase of 107 against Bangladesh as they were all out for 85 runs. 

Earlier, contributions from the entire bowling unit helped Nepal bundle out Bangladesh for 106 in their crucial Group D match of the T20 World Cup 2024.

Asked to bat first, Bangladesh kept on losing wickets at regular intervals and failed to form even a single good partnership. Shakib Al Hasan, who scored 17 runs, was the highest run-scorer in their line-up.

For Nepal, skipper Rohit Paudel, Sandeep Lamichhane, Dipendra Singh, and Sompal Kami scalped two wickets each.

With this win, Bangladesh became the eighth and final team to qualify for the Super 8 stage of the 2024 T20 World Cup.
