Bangladesh planning to take quick wickets on day 2

Bangladesh are looking to take some quick wickets to collapse the South African batting line-up on day 2 of the first test in the two-match Test series-opening game at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday. 

The play ended 15 minutes early on day 1 due to low light. Consequently, play started 15 minutes earlier on Tuesday. South Africa resumed batting at 140 runs for 6 wickets. 

On day 1, South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada took his 300th wicket and Wiaan Mulder bagged three others as Bangladesh were all-out for 106 runs shortly after lunch on the first day. 

Later, Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam became the only second Bangladeshi bowler to reach the milestone of 200-wicket after Shakib Al Hasan.

His landmark moment came on Day 1 of the first cricket Test against South Africa when he dismissed Ryan Rickelton as his fourth scalp. 

He then rattled the stump of Matthew Breetzke to complete his 13th five-wicket in his career.
