BCB forms Independent Inquiry Committee

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has formed an Independent Inquiry Body, which will support the Board and the BCB Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) with integrity issues and investigations, the cricket apex body has said in a press release.

The three-member committee will be headed by former justice of the appellate division Justice Mirza Hussain Haider. The other members are former cricketer Shakil Kasem and international lawyer Dr. Khaled H. Chowdhury, the release added.

This step was taken by the BCB, likely in response to the recent controversies surrounding the BPL tournament.
