Mahmudullah announces retirement from international cricket

Bangladesh veteran Mahmudullah Riyad announced his retirement from international cricket on a Facebook post on Wednesday. 

He opted out of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's central contract for January 1-December 31, 2025. 

Mahmudullah, who scored 11,047 runs in international cricket, retired from Tests in 2021 and called time on his T20I career in October of last year following the Tigers' India tour.
