BCB to host BPL in December-January

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that they are planning to host the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) in December-January, like the previous year. This next BPL will be its 12th edition.

The decision was taken in marathon six-hour-long 19th board of directors meeting held on Monday at the BCB's headquarters Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

The board also informed that they will include an event management company to run BPL well. They are also mulling to have a five-year agreement with franchises for the next cycle.

Fortune Barishal is the current champion of BPL after beating Chittagong Kings by three wickets in the grand final.
