BPL 2026: Rare father-son moment on the cricket field

In a heartwarming and historic sight in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2026, Afghan cricket legend Mohammad Nabi and his talented son Hasan Isakhil are sharing the field for the same team — Noakhali Express.

This match against Dhaka Capitals at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur marks a special occasion, as the father-son duo lines up together in the T20 franchise league.

Noakhali Express captain Haider Ali won the toss and elected to bat first in this crucial encounter.

Both teams are in desperate need of points:

Noakhali Express are at the bottom of the table, having secured just 1 win from their first 7 matches.

Dhaka Capitals are slightly better but still struggling, with only 2 wins from 6 games.

Adding to Dhaka Capitals' woes is the absence of their key pace bowler Taskin Ahmed, who is sidelined due to injury.
