West Indies continue to struggle

The visiting West Indies lost five wickets for 123-run in the first of the three-match day-night ODI series now being underway at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka's Mirpur on Sunday. 

Masrafe bin-Mortaza took three wickets while Shakib al-Hasan and Mehedi Hasan Miraz took one wicket each.    

Earler, the West Indies stand-in captain Rovman Powell won the toss and decided to bat first.   

Bangladesh have made five changes to their last playing XI that played against Zimbabwe in the previous home series.

The first One-day International of the series will mark Mashrafe’s 200th appearance in the format. He played 198 of them for Bangladesh, and the other two for Asian XI. The current series could be his last in home as he is supposed to retire from One-day Internationals after the World Cup next year, and Bangladesh have no home series before that.
