Kazi Salahuddin elected BFF president for fourth time

Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin has been elected as the president of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) for the fourth consecutive term.

The results were officially announced at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Saturday evening.

Kazi Salahuddin won the post bagging 94 votes while his nearest rival Badal Roy got 40 votes.

Shafiqul Islam Manik, the third candidate for the post of President, got only one vote.

Another former footballer Abdus Salam Murshedy has been elected as the vice president of BFF for the fourth time in a row.

The BFF election started at 2pm on Saturday at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, a five-star hotel in Dhaka and voting continued till 5pm.

Out of 139 votes, 135 votes were cast in the BFF election while two councilors were absent from the polling, two did not cast their votes.
