Mushfiqur Rahim's father moves Dhaka for illness

National team cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim's father Mahbub Hamid Tara has fallen ill.

Mahbub Hamid Tara's younger brother Mejbaul Hamid said the ambulance carrying him left Bogra for Dhaka at around 2pm on Wednesday for better treatment.

Bogra Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Samir Hossain Mishu said, “Mahbub were feeling sickness for a few days. He underwent a CT scan on Tuesday night and found that his lungs have been damaged 20 percent.”

He said, “It was not possible to collect his samples for corona testing. However, after seeing a lung infection, it was decided to send him to Dhaka for better treatment. He may be admitted to United Hospital.”

Meanwhile, a BCB source said that Mushfiqur is returning home from Zimbabwe on Wednesday after hearing the news of his father's illness.
