Bangladesh overtake Pakistan in ICC ODI rankings

The recent white-ball victory of Bangladesh's Tamim Iqbal-led team in South Africa has allowed the Tigers to rise to sixth place in the ICC ODI rankings, putting them ahead of Pakistan.

With 93.05 rating points, Bangladesh is just ahead of Pakistan, which has 92.5 points. In the most recent rankings, which were revised on Tuesday, South Africa is currently ahead of the Tigers (102) in fifth place, with New Zealand on top with 121 rating points.

The Tigers, who stunned the Proteas with a 2-1 ODI series triumph in their own backyard, will play the hosts in a two-match Test series beginning on Thursday in Durban.
