Smart District Innovation Challenge launched

In order to help Bangladesh become a smart country, the government has created a unique program for deputy commissioners (DCs), who are required to submit creative ideas for developing smart districts.

The authors of the most inventive ideas will get a Tk 1 crore seed cash under the Smart District Innovation Challenge, according to a statement from Access to Innovate (a2i).

With the use of artificial intelligence and big data analytics, the DCs can develop concepts for delivering citizen-friendly services in a variety of industries, including education, healthcare, social security, agriculture, manufacturing, services, and administration.

Only DCs may enter the competition by submitting ideas by April 25 to the a2i challenge fund website.
