Adobe integrates generative AI into Photoshop

Photoshop users will now be able to use generative AI to extend images and add or remove objects using text prompts.

Adobe is integrating its AI image generator Firefly into Photoshop, which will arm users with a feature called Generative Fill, reports The Verge.

Natural language text prompts can be used to describe the kind of image or object a user wants Firefly to create. While the results may be unpredictable as best, there will be three variations provided for each prompt.

Adobe's Firefly was released as a web-only beta in March, which has already been used to generate more than 100 million images. Generative Fill will also be available only in beta for now but might see a full release later this year.
