Partial disruption of net service on Oct 31, Nov 2

The first submarine cable in the country will be partially severed for an upgrade on October 31 and November 2, resulting in a 20-hour partial disruption to internet services across the country.

According to a press release of Bangladesh Submarine Cables PLC (BSCPLC), the circuits through the South East Asia-Middle East-Western Europe 4 (SEA-ME-WE 4) submarine cable installed in Cox's Bazar will remain partially disconnected for 10 hours on October 31 from 2 am to 12 pm and for another 10 hours on November 2 from 2 am to 12 pm.

He went on to say that in order to accomplish this, the system needs to be shut down for a set period of time.
