Mobile internet to resume Sunday afternoon

Mobile internet services are set to resume after 10 days. State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak said 4G services will resume at 3pm on Sunday countrywide. 

The state minister confirmed the matter to journalists at around 11am on Sunday after a meeting with various mobile operators, the Association of Mobile Telephone Operators Bangladesh, and Mobile Financial Services. 

He added that mobile internet consumers of all operators countrywide will get 5GB bonus for 3 days.

Internet services in the country have been suspended since around 9pm on 18 July. Broadband internet services resumed on a test basis on 23 July.
