Mobile phone users reach 16.48cr

The mobile phone subscribers in Bangladesh reached 16.48 crore in November which was 6.62 lakh higher than in October, according to latest data of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

In January of this year, mobile phone subscribers was 15.75 crore while the number was 16.41 crore in October, reports BSS.

Market leader Grameenphone topped the tally with 7.61 crore subscribers while Robi bagged 4.87 crore, Banglalink 3.51 crore and lone state-own operator Teletalk able to acquire 48 lakh subscribers.
