Delhi to get additional water from Himachal amid crisis

Reeling under a stark water shortage amid a harsh summer, India's Delhi is set to get additional water supply from Himachal Pradesh, NDTV reports.

The hill state must release 125 cusecs of additional water to Delhi, ordered the Supreme Court on Thursday.

There should not be any politics on water, remarked a vacation bench of Justices of Prashant K Mishra and KV Viswanathan.
